In the summer of their lives, three women will discover what it means to be free. Kaleldo is a story told in three segments, each part seen from the eyes of three daughters in the span of seven summers in Guagua, Pampanga. Mang Rudy (Johnny Delgado) is a widowed wood carver who wields an iron hand over his children. His youngest daughter Grace (Juliana Palermo) has to face the reality of leaving the ancestral house on which she is deeply rooted, when she weds Conrad (Loren Novero). On the other hand, Lourdes, the married middle daughter, goes into an illicit affair, for which reason Mang Rudy succumbs to a heart attack. Jess (Cherry Pie Picache), the eldest daughter, is a lesbian whose bitter luck in life is being unwanted by her own father. But when the patriarch of the family suffers and becomes bedridden, Jess brings home her lover (Criselda Volks) to help look after the ailing father. In the end, each daughter finally discovers herself and learns that life is indeed volatile and ever changing... just like the seasons.

Choses secrètes (2002)

"Choses secrètes" is enormously entertaining with two thoroughly captivating leads. The delectably twisted fable centers on two penniless but shapely young women who set out to better their social station by manipulating men. Sabrina Seyvecou, who turns in a spellbinding performance, has a sort of Heather Grahamish innocence and sexiness to her and, along with Coralie Revel, provides some of the most titillating scenes seen in a mainstream movie in many years. It's so refreshing to see a truly adult film these days. Not to mention, a film that doesn't just say it is erotic, it goes ahead and proves it. This is not a film for prudes, for those who are easily offended. But for adults who are willing to see some frank discussion about sex and some deliciously devious sexual politics, this film provides wonderful entertainment.

INTERVIEWS WITH MY NEXT GIRLFRIEND (2001)

PLOT: A mockumentary about one woman's search for her next girlfriend. The search is comprised of 'interviews' with 9 potential candidates. The interviews have the flavour of job interviews, where candidates are assessed by a series of formal questions and informal chatter. The viewer becomes the interviewer - the candidates speak directly to the viewer and the questions are never heard, only the answers. The ridiculous questions become apparent through the women's responses.

ANYONE BUT ME (2008)

PLOT: Anyone But Me follows Vivian, a teen who finds herself forced to move out of the city, and away from her girlfriend Aster, due to her father’s health complications. As if changing high schools during the tumultuous teen years isn’t agony enough, she now must navigate the less culturally diverse waters of suburbia, at a point in her life when her confidence in both her relationship — and perhaps her sexuality overall — has not yet withstood any true test.
